Since opening our doors, Pear Tree Cottage has achieved a perfect balance between perfect luxury and simple convenience. Situated in the rural fields of Westmarsh, near Canterbury and Sandwich, we provide a boutique B&B experience with everything you need to enjoy your stay.
About Pear Tree Cottage
Set in the heart of the Kent countryside, my partner & I would like to welcome you to our home. The house was an early 19th century cottage which has just gone a complete refurbishment.
Wake up to the clopping of horses & be surrounded by orchards and farmlands. Ramble or cycle on footpaths to reach rural villages, drive to the historic towns of Canterbury (25 mins) or Sandwich (10 mins), or spend time in the seaside towns of Ramsgate & Broadstairs.
Our home is a non-smoking home. It offers a double en-suite room and a king-size room with its own private bathroom via a short hallway. Guests will have access to two reception rooms - one overlooking a farm, with the other a more cozy place for evening discussions in front of a wood burner. They also have access to our viewing Gallery (top floor) and our twenty-foot fish pond in the middle of a Zen garden where guests can meditate, do yoga, or enjoy the scenery of adjacent fields. Guests are not allowed to host private functions (lunch/dinner) involving visitors.
We offer an intimate B&B homestay experience and will never have more than 4 guests at any time. We look forward to welcoming you.

Continental Breakfast
Pear Tree Cottage offers a Continental breakfast to all its guests. A selection of pastries, fruit, cereal, bread and jams are always available. Freshly laid hen and duck eggs are offered and cooked to your preference.
Rooms
Pear Tree Cottage offers an intimate experience to its guests and will only ever have four guests at any time. Pear Tree Cottage is a non-smoking home. It offers a double en-suite room and a king-size room with its own private bathroom via a short hallway.
Smallholding and Zen Garden
As part of the Pear Tree Cottage experience, our guests are able to interact with the animals in our smallholding. Our alpacas, cows, hens, ducks and guinea fowl ensure that your stay will be interesting. A 20ft Zen garden with goldfish and coy, amidst the 4 acre field surrounding us ensures that your stay will be a memorable one.
